The ninth incarnation of the sp theme for Habari blogs is available with a git(1) clone or pull from git://labs.utopian.net/sp.git. It works atop the latest developer revisions of Habari. An irregularly-attended gzipped tar archive exists.

Handling of comment display is a little more intelligent now in the sp theme: Entries that have comments disabled and have no existing comments, will not show the comments count and link, the comments feed link, or the comment area and form - not even a “no comments” message. It is assumed such a post is not intended for comment....

It appears Internet Explorer 7 still needs this bit of CSS massage:

In the sprit of “dog food” and all that, overnight I upgraded joshix.com to the razor edge of Habari svn. I’d been running on the stable 0.5.2 release here, but the urge to develop and test against my own little use case is too strong.

A new version of sp is packaged up for download. It includes a fix to make the theme login page show session messages (thanks to rick_c), updates the theme’s use of a few changed Habari functions, and includes some CSS work that we now use as a base in other projects.
